DAF Trucks UK continue to be a proud sponsor of Team BRIT, the only all disabled racing team in the world.
Reporter and ex Paralympian Steve Brown recently visited Team BRIT Headquarters to meet some of the drivers and to try his hand on the track.
Whilst there, he spoke with Paul Fullick and Anji Silva-Vadgama who make up two of the nine drivers on the team, to talk about how their disabilities have only made them more determined to succeed in the sport.
Steve also met with driver Aaron Morgan who took him out on the Dunsfold Aerodrome runway, also known as the Top Gear test track.
Once Steve had gained an insight in to how the advanced adaptive driving technology used in the Teams racing cars work, he was ready to have a trial run on their simulator and then hit the track himself.
